Why King
The rules of the classic game, first popularised on MS-DOS computers in the early 1990s, rebuilt for modern phones, tablets and desktops.
Seven penalty rounds where every trick can hurt, then seven bonus rounds to win it all back. Whoever holds the most points after round 14 takes the game.
Easy, Normal and Hard, plus a neural-network opponent and the restored engine of the original DOS version, in case you have an old score to settle.
Create a private room and share the code, or hit Quick Match. Empty seats are filled with AI, so the game always starts.
In multiplayer the server publishes a cryptographic hash of every shuffle before the deal and reveals the seed afterwards, so you can check for yourself that no deck was rigged.
Every round starts with a short, plain-language explanation of its goal. Turn the tutorials off when you stop needing them.
Single-player works fully offline and saves your game automatically. Multiplayer needs just a nickname — never an account.
The Atlas deck everyone remembers, redrawn so it stays sharp at any size. The felt colour and the card order in your hand are up to you.
Fully localised interface and tutorials. The game follows your device language, or set it manually.
The contracts
Each round is a separate deal with its own goal. Rounds 1–7 punish you for taking; rounds 8–14 reward you for taking the very same things.
